2nd Influence

Now, the second influence that Malcolm portrayed throughout his life is dedication and motivation. Malcolm X stayed dedicated to all of his actions and never gave up. For example, while in jail, when Malcolm had heard that his foster family had converted to Muhummad's teaachings, he stared to read about his teachings for understanding. Malcolm stayed dedicated to this task. He even wrote numerous letters to the "Messenger of Allah." When Malcolm was released from jail, a was now a changed man. See, Malcolm could have gone back to his old life as a thief, hustler, and drug dealer, but he didn't. Malcolm stayed motivated and focused into Muhammad's teachings. People world wide can learn from this. If you go to jail, and still have the same mind by the time you are released, then you're on your way back to jail for an even longer time. Use Malcolm's example and become a changed person. When you are released from prison, it is a time to start all over, fresh, and anew. Don't go back to your old ways.
