In "X, Malcolm," by Tandy McConnel from the Student Resoource Center Gold, she wrote that Malcolm described in his auto-biography(written with Alex Haley) the harrassment of his father, including numerous, terrifying visits from kkk. Tandy also states that one of Malcolm's first memories is of his burning home in Omaha. As you previously know from the Biography above, Malcolm's dad, Earl Little, was killed by being thronw in frong of a trolley car. The reports explained that his body was almost split into two! Now, Tandy also metions about Louis Little. After Earl's death, she was left to take care of their children. She soon couldn't handle the stress and started to emotionally break down. Loius was psycologically unstable and was institutioned until 1963. Tandy explains and wrote that "Malcolm X gave African Americans something no one else ever had."" He gave them a sense that the race has a right to feel anger and to express the power of it." Today, Malcolm X has influenced many people world wide to stop all kinds of racism.
